Your main AccountabilitiesYou enjoy the regulatory and sustainability world and are always up to date with its growing complexity and its related business implications. You understand the vital role Regulatory Affairs and Sustainability play in supporting our customers. With the assistance of a dedicated team you will enable the EnergyCuring Division's compliance with local and international chemical and sustainability regulations. You will lead a team of 7 persons ensuring an effective organisation/coordination of their activities and processes, aiming at best supporting the division's business objectives from the regulatory and sustainability point of view. As a member of the Division management team, you contribute to the division strategy by incorporating the regulatory and sustainability dimensions. You are responsible for the implementation of the ENC Sustainability Division strategy and drive its roadmap implementation. Thanks to your networking capabilities you will establish yourself as RAHN's representative within the different interprofessional regulatory groups as well as the various regulatory and sustainability departments of our customers and suppliers Worldwide, while always providing first class product stewardship support. To ensure new products meet the regulatory requirements you will be collaborating with product managers and the R&D department from the early stages of a product development cycle onwards. You embrace possible upcoming regulatory changes and challenges by proactively identifying solutions and ensuring these are applied through an efficient coordination and communication with all the involved stakeholders.Your profileYou hold a Bachelor/Master's degree in chemistry or in a related field. A minimum of 7 to 10 years' Regulatory Affairs and/or sustainability experience within the chemical industry is a requirement for this position, preferably with at least 3 years' experience in leading a regulatory team. Kledge of UL WERCS IT regulatory system and experience with polymer and acrylate chemistry are a plus. You feel at ease working transversally across departments, demonstrating your strong customer-oriented skills both internally and externally.
